A Dreamer

Understand  that you Can achieve Success
Define what Success represents, for You
Organize your life around its Achievement
These are just three steps from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People written by Stephen Covey. Yes, these are good pointers to be an effective person. Never under-estimate your capability to reach goals.
I don’t know but lately, I’m not so sure if I can really achieve that success or if I have the time to make so. I do not know how ‘success’ represents me. Consequently, I can’t organize my life, if I have one, around its achievement. I don’t know where I’m going. I don’t know how start again or even continue.
I used to be a girl with dreams and a person who will live up to those dreams. Now, I can not find the urge to wake up and make those dreams come into reality. Again and again, I am lost. Again and again, I get stuck.
You see, dreams are not always what they seem to be, as for me. They are not just the fantasies you paint before you go to dreamland at night. They are not as easy as they seem. Dreams can be a nightmare. If you could not find the strength to wake up, you might die.
I am afraid to die and worse, I am frightened to be killed by my own dreams.
I just wish that the next time the sun shines, my eyes would see the path. The moment it rains, I would know where to get an umbrella. Tomorrow is a different day, that’s for sure but I don’t want to live tomorrow and be dead today. I have to find the air to keep on living. I have to find the understanding that I can never be far from the success I used to paint in my dreams, once again. I want to know how reaching my goals would mean to me. I want to have a life again and live it around my achievements.
I wish upon a star, I hope upon heaven, that someday or better yet, as soon as possible, I’ll be that dreamer again who’s ready to wake up and live the reality.
